Stairs.quantiles(q)#

Returns an array of q-quantiles.

Quantiles are cut points which divide a distribution into continuous intervals with equal probabilities. The 2-quantile is more commonly known as the median. The 4-quantiles are more commonly known as quartiles. The 100-quantiles are more commonly known as percentiles.
